Entrance

As you enter the farm you will pass over a small cattle grid, please proceed to the reception which is located at the far end of the barn.

Car Parking and Arrival

Our check in time is between 3:30pm and 5:30pm; guests who think they will be arriving later than this are politely asked to contact us before 5pm to let us know. We will then explain how they can find their cabin or pod, and leave the keys in the door ready for their arrival.

We give all guests a tour around the farm, making sure that they know where all of the facilities can be found, and ensuring that they are aware of the health and safety, and fire rules. We then show the guests into their accommodation, confirming that they are happy with everything, and make it known that we are available between the hours of 9am and 5:30pm should they need us, and that outside of those hours we are contactable by the emergency number that we provide.

Upon entry to the farm, guests will see the parking for the glamping pods on their right. As they continue on up to the end of the track, they will find a larger parking area for the other cabins. There is also a small number of parking spaces available at the back of Reception, as well as a few of the individual cabins having their own parking spaces, such as Butterfly, Duckling, Deer Walk, Badgers Rest and Dragonfly.

Reception and Farm Shop

At the top of the farm track is our Reception block. The door can be located on the left hand-side of the building, and Reception can also be accessed by a door at the back of the building, passing through the Games Room and Farm Shop.

Reception is accessible via a paved ramp but please note that there is a slight lip on the door.

Next to Reception guests will find our newly-renovated Farm Shop, where we offer a small selection of food, drinks and souvenirs. A number of our items are locally-sourced, including fresh meats, bread, jams and chutneys, as well as eggs collected from our own chickens.

Public Areas

We have tried to keep the rustic charm of the ex-dairy farm wherever we can, and therefore none of our tracks and pathways are tarmacked. Instead we have gravel pathways, some cutting through the more uneven areas of the site to make accessibility easier.

We have several grass areas on site, including around the pods, pond, river and cabins. We have three free-roaming Jacob’s sheep who thrive on the grassy areas.

Hot Tub and Sauna
On the back of our Reception block we have a hot tub and sauna room. Although for use by all of our guests, it is privately booked for an hour at a time (for example, 9am – 10am, 10am – 11am). There is a small charge for using this facility.

Games Room
The Games Room is free for use by all of our guests and can be found next to the farm featuring a pool table, table tennis table, and a host of board games, it is the ideal place to spend an hour or so in the evening. Please note that the games room is not heated so is colder during the winter months.
