Bath is a beautiful city, so much so that it is now a World Heritage Site; the splendid architecture is some of the finest in Europe. There are hundreds of shops, both the usual outlet shops and quirky unusual shopping experiences, plus plenty of pubs and restaurants to try out!

Bath is the only place in the UK where you can bathe in natural hot spa water, first used by the Romans. There are many other things to do besides visiting Bath Spa, these include: the magnificent Royal Crescent, The Circus, Pulteney Bridge and Bath Abbey. Furthermore there are numerous museums and places of interest, plus a wonderful Christmas market in December each year, at which time the city centre is transformed into a magical festive wonderland.

Glastonbury is steeped in history, from tales of King Alfred and the Isle of Avalon, the visit of Joseph of Arimathea and of course the famous Tor. Glastonbury has a magical feeling, with interesting and bespoke shops as well as some lovely places to dine or grab a spot of lunch.

Some of Glastonbury’s main attractions include the Abbey, Tor, Chalice Well Gardens and of course Glastonbury Festival, all of which make for a great time.

Burnham-On-Sea boasts seven miles of sandy beaches, wonderful seaside walks and plenty of great value pubs and restaurants to eat and drink. The beach offers donkey rides, arcades and sandcastle building for the youngsters and not to forget great fish and chips! Plenty of fun can be had on the miles of sandy beaches with great views of Bridgwater Bay and the Welsh coast in front of you.

The town centre, just 50 metres from the beach, has a mix of high street shops and a number of more traditional outlets, not to mention some nice places eat and drink.

Weston Super Mare

Weston-Super-Mare grew significantly in the 19th century with the rise in popularity of sea side resorts and some of these same Victorian charms still bring thousands of visitors to Weston each year. There are many attractions, including the famous Grand Pier Amusements, Aquarium, Helicopter Museum and a busy town centre which boasts an array of shops.

The town also holds its famous ‘T4 on the Beach’ festival during the summer.

Cheddar is a village situated on the southern edge of the Mendip Hills. There is lots to see at Cheddar; such as Cheddar Gorge, Caves and Wookey hole!

Cheddar Gorge is the UK’s biggest gorge with dramatic cliffs rising 450 feet and amazing caverns. The site is an area of outstanding natural beauty and has many fascinating stories of prehistoric ancestors and an international centre for caving and rock climbing. Wookey Hole is a great family day out with a spectacular cave system, the infamous Wookey Witch and many more fun things to do.

Cheddar has far more to offer than caves, why not take a tour around the famous Cheddar Cheese Factory, wander around all the quirky shops or relax with a cup of coffee in the many tea rooms in the Gorge. If you are feeling adventurous why not try a bit of rock climbing! Or take a lovely walk through one of Somerset’s greatest wonders: the Gorge itself.

Wookey Hole! Do we say more… Home of the Wookey Witch. Take the tour and hear the sad story of this local woman who lived in the caves. These caves go through the Mendip Hills and is a wonderful spot. After you have taken the tour, its not over!
